Pendleton on Wheels Saturday Ride 9/12/26
Athena Weston loop ~ 62 miles
Meet at Chamber of Commerce parking lot before 8:00 AM since we leave at 8:00 AM
Leave on SE Frazer Street to SE 10th. Turn left and travel a few yards to the stop sign, then right to SE Court St at the viaduct. Follow the road to Hwy 11 (.7 miles). Turn left onto Hwy 11 to Wildhorse/Adams Road.
Travel Adams Road until you arrive at the town of Adams. The city public restroom and a park with a water fountain and picnic tables. (~14 miles). This is the first option for an out and back to Pendleton for a 28-mile ride.
From Adams head north on Sand Hollow Road until you arrive at Hwy 334. Turn right onto Hwy 334 and travel until you arrive at the town of Athena. There is a mini-mart gas station where you can purchase food and drink.
(~19 miles). This is a second option for an out and back to Pendleton for a 38-mile ride.
From Athena travel to Highway 11 north approximately .2 miles and take a left onto Banister Rd and travel into Weston. (~22.5 miles). This is the third option for an out and back from to Pendleton for a 54-mile ride.
The loop from Weston, you turn onto Mill St which becomes Lieuallen Rd. Right on Pine Creek Rd, right onto Wildhorse, cross Hwy 11 and back into Athena.
From Athena you travel back the reverse order to Pendleton
